i've been getting a lot of questions about products lately (particularly the self-tanner) so i am going to do a re-blog of the product post we did back in january.
so i am a little okay a lot more obsessed with products than liz is (see above) but below i've tried to narrow it down.
Chanel Glossimer in Spark. Best basic color, looks great on any skin tone.
Self-tanner by Sun Laboratories in DARK. By far the BEST self-tanner (tried a ton of them). Doesn't streak, provides rich, even color, inexpensive, lasts for a couple days. Smell is bearable. for tips on how to apply, feel free to email me and i will give you the run-down on the rub-down.
Great for over your self-tanner or if you want something that rinses off. This is actually a second favorite (first is Flamingo Fancy by Benefit but has been discontinued). This will get on your clothes so be careful when wearing white (it will come out).
Perfect for over any lip color to give lips a matte look.
Best black finger nail polish.
Goes on evenly, smells good, very light but provides really good coverage.
Great for oily or dry skin.
Best eye make-up remover. A little pricey but worth it since it eliminates the tearing and rubbing around your eyes associated with other eye make-up removers.
Au Courant makes fantastic self-tanners for body and face (the mousse is best and get the dark) but they can be tough to find. Their face gel is awesome for people with sensitive skin.
Awesome after a night out. Just dab a little under the eyes to relieve dark circles and bags.
So good it made the list twice. Chanel Glossimer in Sirop.
LOVE this stuff. Spray a little in roots and fluff for a clean look. Also works great as a volumnizer.
Good for chapped noses and lips, dry elbows--even removes eye make-up in a pinch.
Anytime you go to the Chanel counter, make sure you ask for a few samples. They're great for travel and actually last a long time.
